Quincy Jones at Freda Payne's Birthday & CD Release Party!

On September 19, Mr. Quincy Jones stopped by to surprise Freda Payne at her Birthday/New Jazz CD Release Party at Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood California. Mr. Jones shared a special speech to Freda, one of his first artists in the US, before bringing on stage a large birthday cake and her family - her son Gregory Abbott Jr. (who shares the same birthday with his mom), sister Scherrie Payne and niece Shoshana Payne.

Freda's latest Jazz CD was produced by Grammy winner Bill Cunliff and recorded at Capitol Records with a full Orchestra.

This was a star studded event and Freda was able to share this with her dearest friends and family by her side.
